I'm Anne

and I've been a pastor for almost 25 years and engaged in social media ministry for 15 years.

I'm a pastor, speaker, writer and social media evangelist. I know that, when it comes to churches, social media isn't about using the latest gimmick to "go viral," but to create community and engage people in your ministry.

I believe that social media (as problematic as it can be) is one of our best tools to reach people with the Good News of the Gospel. I love helping churches do just that!

I have a Facebook Marketing Certification from Syracuse University, am a member of the Social Media Marketing Society and have completed numerous workshops and classes with them. I am constantly learning about social media, so I can pass that knowledge on to you (in ways that are easy to digest).

A Little More About Me

Doubting Believer

I started a blog called Doubting Believer back in 2015 to reach people who had been hurt by the church, were wrestling with their faith and who were looking for a place to connect.

Doubting Believer is now a community that connects through that same blog and through social media and online classes and workshops.

Creative Worship

I have crafted worship experiences (liturgy and rituals) for two Montreat Youth Conferences, the upcoming Montreat College Conference and created several worship resources for Advent, Lent and other seasons.

Speaking

I have led worship and/or served as keynote speaker for a number of conferences and gatherings, including Montreat, Mo-Ranch and Ferncliff Conferences. If you'd like to learn more about having me speak for your conference or organization email me at anne@doubtingbeliever.com
